He looks over at her and smiles. :How are you feeling right now?" He sits down for a few and waits for her. "Just let me know if you need to rest or want something to eat."

"Alright. I have to make sure. I know at times I need to rest as well." He shakes his fur to keep the cold air from making him freeze. He knew or had a feeling something good was going to happen. Just not sure on when it was going to be. He just knew he had someone with him this go around. He was getting to that point where he did not want to spend time alone anymore.

She wags her tail still and looks around. Usually she'd just den up with the first male that asks her to so she wasn't alone and wouldn't freeze. But, they always tried to start a pack with her and she didn't want that. She was tired of being alone, but now she doesn't have to be alone.

He stops to look around. Some of the trees he knew, which ment they will be to the den in so time. Just around this time he could not show her how wonderful it looks. He had to wait for the spring to get here. But that could go by faster now that he had a other to talk to and all. Just the food could be harder to get unless they get luck and the little pond inside does not freeze then they can eat fish when needed.

She starts to think to herself how well they could survive if they two of them stayed together past the winter. She was enjoying his company and felt a whole lot safer when near him unlike the other males.

He walks over to a den like cave and stand there. Had to make sure it was safe and by the smell of it, it was. "Well we are here now." He smiles at her and walked in to make sure he did not other do his smell. He was happy they was here cause he was tried and wanted to rest. The cave was nice and warm.

She walks into the cave carefully. She looks around then yawns a bit. "I use to never sleep in caves. Something about then when I was younger just made me feel sad and alone."

He shows her around the cave. "See here is the little place to get some water and fish as well. Its warmer in the cave so we will see a lot more fish in here." That made him feel good since he knew that they would have food for the winter, even if its just fish. "Now here and there a deer does come in here and we can get it then. They are here to get some water. The river outside freezes over so yeah."

"Maybe one day we can have a pack. I have been thinking a lot on it and well I think its time for me to become what I was to be. My parents are alphas as well and I was next in the line." He just knew she was down about not having a pack and he wanted her to know that.

She lowered her ears. "I was to take over my parents pack. I was the only pup out of a littler of eight to survive the first winter." She looks away for a moment and let her mind wonder on what could have been.
